Anxiety and Stress

'Anxiety is a physiological and psychological state characterized by cognitive, somatic, emotional, and behavioral components. These components combine to create an unpleasant feeling that is typically associated with uneasiness, fear, or worry.'

Under the effect of stress, the whole body is 'under strain'

What is stress?

In the long run, such situations often lead to various disorders, such as stomach pains, fatigue, difficulty in concentrating, relationship problems, irritability, sleep disorders and even more serious pathological conditions.

Under the effect of stress, the whole body is 'under strain'. It is a reflex by the body, which will do everything possible to adjust. On orders from the nervous system, a hormone is secreted: adrenalin.

Temporarily, this stress is beneficial and makes it possible to react as promptly as
possible to a stressful situation. In the long term, the body becomes exhausted. Each person reacts differently to stress:some manage to act efficiently and calmly, while less robust natures react negatively and allow themselves to be swamped by such states.Try to avoid sedatives and anxiolytics and look rather for gentler and more natural methods. Excess stress involves a considerable loss of magnesium in the urine, and overconsumption of vitamins and minerals; taking food supplements that contain these active principles makes it possible to recharge the body.

What are the best active principles?

MAGNESIUM
Magnesium supplementation improves stress tolerance and controls its signs: hyperemotivity, tremors, nervous fatigue in the morning, headaches, insomnia, cramps, etc.

VITAMIN B6
This facilitates taurin synthesis, which is a sedative that enables the body to adjust to a stressful situation and reduce its consequences. Its activation and that of magnesium are interdependent, hence the utility of supplementation containing both active principles.

HOPS
Its sleep-promoting action is very well known. In Germanic countries, restless children were traditionally given pillows stuffed with hop cones, to get them to sleep.

OMEGA-3 - EPA/DHA
These combat anxiety and the devastating effects of stress. The omega-3 fatty acid concentration in the cell membranes, especially those of the brain, condition their proper functioning and their resistance to stress.

For those experiencing anxiety and stress, we recommend taking a suitable supplement, namely St John's Wort.
